Monument Center, Inc. was established more than 80 years ago to service the growing population of Detroit. Purchased in 1962 by Joseph A. Huber after spending over 20 years learning the trade, a new era of family ownership and personal service began. For over 40 years, Mr. Huber kept current with the many changing trends in the monument industry, yet maintained quality, hand-crafted workmanship. After more than 40 years working alongside and learning from his father, David Huber took on the responsibility of continuing the standards of craftsmanship and outstanding customer service that our customers have always been provided.

Most aspects of design and lettering happen in-house, providing families the ability to truly be a part of the process and directly affect the finished product. In most cases, designs submitted by families are drawn up at no additional charge, giving the memorial a personal touch that is one of a kind.

At Monument Center, Inc., we strive to provide our customers with the education and understanding that will enable them to select a memorial worthy of the responsibility of such a decision. A blend of both new and old techniques allow for an infinite variety of monument designs and inscriptions. We offer everything from the refined look of a traditional marker to a highly personalized or stylized look plus everything in-between – always at a reasonable price.
